Colinda is a Psychological Associate licensed with the NC Psychology Board since 1995 and has worked in the mental health field since 1988. She graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit MI with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology was from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. Over the years she has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, public schools, and the local Health Department. For the past several years she has been in private practice offering assessment and treatment services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. She is a play therapist and traumatologist, specializing in working with individuals with special needs. She enjoys travel, health and nutrition, reading, yoga, hiking, and swimming.
