Meet Alisha Wallace-Smith, a Healthcare Executive with natural leadership talent and a progressive healthcare and human services career of over 25 years. Alisha has a uniquely broad array of experience in acute, ambulatory, behavioral health of adults and youth, driving operational and care delivery goals with oversight of teams and resources. Alisha is a passionate, tech-savvy leader with a heart of service and excellence in business operations and person-centered care.. Having an unyielding commitment to excellence, Alisha has either instigated or actively contributed to nationally recognized patient engagement quality, and patient safety initiatives. With fearless conviction to engage and educate in life-saving efforts, Alisha also supports organ and tissue donation.
Along with the extensive experience in Health and Human Services, Alishe has also developed an unyielding passion for program management, program development, and facilitating understanding in relation to Health Literacy and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion throughout the healthcare continuum. Alisha currently serves as Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee with the local branch of American College of Healthcare Executives (AHEC).
Personally, Alisha is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in African American Studies and Psychology. Further, Alisha earned her Master of Healthcare Administration – Leadership from Capella University. Alisha is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Lastly, Alisha loves photography, to volunteering with the Community Shelter of Union County, to travel, go bowling, and dining out with family and friends.
