Covenant UnityLink
Community Networking
Community Networking helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) engage in meaningful activities within their community. This service encourages participation in activities like volunteering, visiting parks, and joining local programs to promote independence, socialization, and community inclusion.
How It Works
Step

Assessment & Goal Setting
We collaborate with individuals and their families to identify personal goals and interests that align with their definition of a purpose-filled day.
Step

Activity Planning
Based on the individual's preferences, a schedule of community-based activities is created. These activities occur in integrated settings outside of the individual’s private residence.
Step

Participation & Support
Trained staff or providers assist individuals in participating in chosen activities, ensuring they have the support needed to engage fully and safely.
Step

Ongoing Evaluation
Regular check-ins ensure that the activities remain aligned with the individual’s goals and provide opportunities for growth and integration.
