Covenant AbleHaven
Community Living and Support Services (CLS)
Covenant AbleHaven offers community living and support services that help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live more independently. These services teach everyday skills, build confidence, and support each person’s goals at home and in the community.
What Are Community Living and Support Services?
Community living and support services (CLS) give one-on-one help to people who need support in their daily lives. Each plan is made around what the person wants and needs.
Support may include help with personal care, cooking, cleaning, learning new skills, or being part of community activities. The goal is to help each person feel more confident, safe, and included.
Covenant’s team works closely with families to create simple, caring plans that help people grow and reach their goals.
Location and Community Connection
Covenant AbleHaven proudly serves individuals and families across North Carolina, offering community living and supports services near you through a trusted local network of caregivers and professionals.
Our goal is to make quality support accessible within each person’s own community, reducing barriers to care and enhancing inclusion.
How It Works
Step
Create a Care Plan
Each person starts with a simple plan based on their strengths, needs, and goals. This plan guides all care and support.
Step
One-on-One Support
Trained staff or family caregivers help with daily tasks like bathing, meals, cleaning, or getting to appointments. Every activity is a chance to build confidence and independence.
Step
Community Involvement
People are encouraged to join community activities, volunteer, or attend events. These experiences help build friendships and social skills.
Step
Teamwork and Safety
Covenant works with families and caregivers to make sure support stays consistent and safe. We focus on each person’s health, comfort, and emotional well-being.
