Amber holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Biology as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis Response. She has been working in mental health since 2010 and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in mental and behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, intellectual/developmental disability services, advocacy, and child welfare.

Currently, Amber serves as the Regional Director for the Vaya Health Region of Covenant Case Management Services, ensuring that clients and families receive quality services throughout 31 counties in North Carolina. This includes programs and services such as Community Living and Supports, Community Networking, Individual and Family Directed Supports, 1915(i) Services, Residential and Supported Living, Nursing, Respite, Specialized Consultative Services, and Supported Employment.
